Prayer is one of the most significant offerings we can provide for one another. If you are in need of prayer, please consider some of our options below.
Wall of Prayer – Any prayer, public or private, can be attached to the “Wall of Prayer” in the front of the church either before, after, or during the service. Prayers can also be sent electronically to Fr. Tim ([email protected]) to be printed and attached.
Prayers of the People – During Sunday Prayers of the People, if you have a friend or loved in who is struggling, for whatever the reason, we are happy to add their first name to our spoken prayer list. To place someone on the spoken prayer chain, please contact Deacon Bookie – ([email protected]).
Lighting a candle – When the Prayers of the People are read on Sunday mornings, you are invited to come forward and light a candle as a representation of your prayer request, and place your candle in the sand.
Confidential Prayer Chain – There is an electronic confidential prayer chain sent to 8-10 people throughout the church who intentionally pray for those in need. To send a confidential prayer request, which will not be repeated by anyone on the prayer chain or made public beyond the confidential group, please send an email to [email protected]. If you are interested in being part of the confidential prayer team, please contact Fr. Tim.
Confidential Prayer Box – Fr. Tim is the only one who opens this locked box. All prayers are kept strictly confidential. The prayer box can be found on the table immediately on your left upon entering our worship space. Specific cards for the prayer box are next to the wooden box.
Healing Prayer Team – During the Communion portion of Sunday services, there are often members of our healing prayer team ready to hear prayer requests and offer a prayer over you. This takes place privately behind the screen in the back left corner of the church.
Clergy – Fr. Tim and Deacon Bookie can be reached by phone call, text, or email for emergency and non-emergency situations, or simply to talk. You can also call the church line directly which goes to Fr. Tim. Both can also be emailed separately or together via email addresses below.
